Get your group started with a great ice breaker or warm up exercise. Change these group activities to fit your needs. These free ice breakers help jumpstart the brain and add a flavor of fun. These are a good resource for meeting icebreakers. You can also use these icebreakers in training or retreats. Name Tents Create a name tent from index weight paper. Fold it in half and write their name on both sides. Have an assortment of colored markers to choose from. Ask them to draw something they enjoy next to their name. During introductions have them share their drawing. Need a little more challenge? Name tents can be folded any way except in half. 2 Things Have your folks pair up or split into small groups. Let them select 2 things from their wallet or purse to share. You will be surprised what people will talk about. You’re a Liar! Let people write down three things about themselves. Two should be the truth and one is made up. Read them out. The group chooses between the truth and the lie. You can spread this out during the session by reading only a few at a time.
