Effective team building helps a group find themself. They discover the keys to their success. Like the individuality of each person, each group has their own successful components. Effective team building recognizes the uniqueness and allows teams the ability to find and build their own foundation for success.

Moving groups into teams starts with understanding what the final team will look like and their current developmental stage. Knowing how to work through conflicts, gaining support for a common mission, building consensus, and maximizing the teams resources are key issues. These issues help a group transform into a team.

Scavenger Hunts. The latest trend in team building is scavenger hunt. It's a great activity for a fun group experience. In any team building you should be clear about your objectives. Then ask what lessons can be learned from your team building experience and how are they transferred to the job. The transfer of lessons to the job is key to your experience. We do not conduct scavenger hunts because we do not see any significant skills transferring to the work place.
